Last night about 2 AM I took some NyQuil so I am rather zoned out at the moment but here's what I did yesterday and other newsy stuff.
Well I was planning on going on on NYE but didn't because I wasn't feeling well (and actually went to bed at 11:30). I just chilled at home though while the BF was out. Really wanted to go with but at the same time I knew I'd be miserable there.
Tuesday was better though. Went to eat breakfast with BF and Brett. It took forever to get an order in, to get our food and to get our bill but it was the same with everyone. I don't think the place expected it to be that busy (and it was completly full typically with people waiting for the next available table). Afterwards went to Hancock Fabrics to stock up on some stuff for my new serger. So got some string, some material and a cople of patterns and hope that this will be a good starting point at least. We get home and relax a lil bit then get IMs from Chris saying that he and Ben wanted to go see a movie and was wondering if I was up for it. At the moment though there was only one film that I REALLY wanted to see which was Sweeney Todd. We went back and forth until they conceeded to go to that movie so the BF and I go out to eat at Ben's Noodles and Rice (best Thai place ever... and I don't like Thai). Bf and I then take the train and BF gets off at the grocery store to pick up foods for the week while I head the rest of the way downtown to the theater.
Sweeney Todd was awesome. I didn't expect there to be so much blood though and scenes you wouldn't normally expect to be funny were. I'd have to say this is how all dark comedies and musicals should be done. After that there wasn't much left. Jason cleaned more of the house :) so now the living room and kitchen are all cleaned and purty. Now have to tackle the bedroom and bathroom and keep it this way for a while.
