So this weekend was rather :P I called into work on Friday because when I woke up I was spinning... or felt like it. I was dizzy all day and my sinuses were clogged so I stayed well medicated. Saturday my BF woke up and was getting sick too so we went to Walgreens to pick up stuff for that and then went shopping at Aldi's where I picked up my Serger (which still hasn't been fully set up yet. That I will have to do tomorrow possibly). Sunday We rented a car and went to Sam's club and got a new table so we could use it for counter space since we really don't have any. Unfortunately all this running around has worn me out today. Never a good thing to be sick and run around all day. I may take a nap when I get home so I can have fun tonight.
Now onto the New Years Resolutions:
First and most importantly: Loose weight/go to the gym. I am completely out of shape now since my job consists of me sitting all day so I need to work out, having a better diet wouldn't be too bad either.
Second: Hang out with furiends. Probably about mid month I am going to start doing the NorthSide Chicago Meets again and start meeting fursons in the area in general. Hopefully more people will come to it but will make it in a place that stays open longer.
Third: Learn to sew/serge. I have the machine now I just need to have the time to accomplish it.
So that's just a few things that I want to do and can think of. I do have a question or two though.
1. Should the BF and I keep a gym membership that we pay 12 dollars a month for and don't ever use or should we get a new gym membership to a gym close to home that we would use and pay 60 a month for?
2. What are some things I should start sewing and are there any places that has good information on how to use a serger.
