It's been weird being back from vacation. It was relaxing but coming back made me think... why am I doing this? I mean really, why am I doing this?
I like my job for the most part, but it's just a job. Yes it is better than retail but I really have no love for it, and lately have been way too stressed out over it. I also realized that I haven't really done much with my life, at least much that I really wanted to do. In truth I seemed to have skipped from one stable place to another one just because it was stable. I have seemed to have lost my passion for life, if I even had it that is. So yesterday while on the train ride to work I saw an ad for Columbia College so when I got to work I checked them out. Didn't realize they were an art college. Saw that they had a few programs that I'd be interested in so am now thinking I should go back and get a useful degree in something I really like.
So far I'm looking into Fashion Design, Fiction Writing and Web Design. They have Video Game Design as well but not sure if I would really want to go into that or not. I do think I want to investigate more into it though, even if it's a class a night for a couple of years just to do something different and get my creative juices flowing again.
