Weekend Update
May. 3rd, 2010 10:44 amSo things seem to be back to normal, which is good. I figured that we'd just be completely weird with each other now that we are just friends, and at first it seemed like they would be. After this weekend I can confirm not.
This weekend we went to Chinatown for Chinese food. We go to Lao Shanghai (I think that's the name) and typically I get the crispy beef there (the most amazing thing ever) but this time I decided for something different. I got the Orange Chicken because I had it at their other restaurant and it was amazing so thought it would be good here too. I was highly disappointed though. They left the skin on the chicken which made it taste all fatty through out. There's nothing worse when your expecting something crunchy and get something slimy instead. Afterwords we went to Huck Finns and had dessert. Cool place, HUGE Donuts.
Saturday we relaxed for most of it but went bike riding in the afternoon which was good but man does it make me feel out of shape. Hopefully going to try and do it ever nice weekend with Jason. Also went to see Woody at Evil Squirrel Comics, being that it was free comic book day. He was quite busy all day it seemed or at least while I was there. Got a few interesting things including a book that was half off because of being a bit damaged for the comic Wondermark http://wondermark.com/ (awesomely Steampunk comic strip, my favorite being this one at the moment http://wondermark.com/394/ ). I think I really want to hang out with the furry crowd again mainly because I feel so out of the loop anymore and have only a few friends in the area. I guess the way to do it though is to call Woody more often though or text him or something lol. I hate inviting myself to do things but I guess if I ask what's up it's not really inviting myself heh.
Anyway Sunday went to get groceries and not much else really. Did make breakfast in the morning though.
Next week we are going to be going on a vacation to see my mom. Should be great as she lives in South Carolina. Will try and post infos and stuff on that once I get back. I'm sure I will post something before then though probably.
