Fursuit and weekend

This MIR weekend was very lowkey for once. It seemed like my BF wasn't too interested in getting geared up which I can't fully blame him. We both need to loose weight. I know personally ever since getting to Chicago I have gained at least 40 pounds and I don't know how much my BF has gained. I just feel bad because I am partially responsible for his weight gain. Anyway mostly what we did was hang out with friends and had fun. It's amazing to see more and more furs at this event although truthfully I still like MFF better... Maybe if they treated MIR more like a con it'd get tons more people and would have to worry about going to a bar all the time.

Other news I got myself some pretty decent looking white fur and a pattern for the suit. Now need to get some material for the first go over with the suit and to make a pattern with for colors and find some really decent blue fur that's not overly expensive but at the same time won't fall apart after two years. Talked to Perro about it actually and he said most blue fur is not very good because it's fun fur and falls apart quickly. :P Figures I would try and use blue. Well I still like my skunk as if anyway. Also need to figure out how to do the head. Should I go with just foam or plastic mesh somewhere in there. Will have to look around and see what's out there.

Fur

So apparently Distinctive Furs has some new blue fur in the color I need. It is rather expensive, but still decently priced and they sell by the yard. Now should I purchase some from them or not?
