Stuff and things
Mar. 11th, 2008 09:34 amSo this weekend was fun. Went to Mr. Wisconsin Leather. It was an interesting time. Not sure what to exactly think about the contest itself but still had fun and hung out with friends.
What happened was we got to the Bar that was holding it and there were no contestants so they asked for contestants within the bar. By the time they started (which was about two hours after they were supposed to) they had four contestants, one of which was our friends in the NEW Brotherhood. Of the other three one was just a patron of the bar who was near deaf, another was a member of the Argonauts, and the last one was a person who worked at the bar, who was new to leather, and joined as a bet. So you can probably guess who won. Personally everyone thought it would be down to The members of the two local groups but in fact the finalists were the kid who worked at the bar and our friend from NEWB (and yes I knew it spelled that and they do too). In the end the kid from the bar won (I think mostly because he really looked good in the leather he borrowed but there could be "other" reasons). So yeah basically I'm either expecting there to be a lot of drama because of this or hopefully maybe help the groups and the bar itself. I hate to say though I think it's just going to start more drama though.
Other than that at work yesterday had a tasting from Fox and Obel. It was great. The food was decent (especially the desserts) and everyone seemed to enjoy it. Will see if we can do more things with them. It's really nice too since they do things other then the typical lunch like cheese trays and such and they have a nice variety.
Last but not least I got Super Smash Bros. Brawl last night and played with it for a bit. Now just need someone to beat me up with it.
