Writers unite

So my BF keeps telling that the writers are being greedy and that they shouldn't be on strike. I hate to say that I completely disagree with him on this point. Personally if someone was to make millions off of your work and you only get a pentance of that then by all means they should be greedy. If you think about it if you have no writers then all you have left are "reality" shows. "Reality" shows are neither real or that entertaining (unless you are watching actual reality shows then maybe). But getting back on subject; writers don't get paid nearly as much as they should for what they do. I mean look at it this way; If there were no writers then what would the actors do? There would be no stories so the actors themselves would be out of a job too because there would be nothing to act in. So yeah writers may be greedy but don't they have a right to when so many people are making money off or their work.

In other news I broke down and paid for the Apple update even though I probably shouldn't have. I was weak. But the things are really cool and should have been added at the very beginning. I just don't think that because it was already out and was a free update for one product that it should be a price for another almost identical product especially when the newer versions have it for free. Or at least a smaller price. I wouldn't have minded 10 dollars for the whole thing even though I still would say it's not right.
