What a month...
Oct. 14th, 2007 09:32 pmSo far this month has been semi hellish... Well it's been great for me but hellish for my BF. So Let's go with the Hellish first and then go to the good stuff last.
So we went to a group thing with our friend Sam in Wisc. for the NEW Brotherhood and after we got home to Chicago Jason and Sam (and another member of NEWB) got sick. Jason got Tonsillitis and got meds for it and took most of it then after about a week he felt good and forgot to take them and got sick again this time with Pneumonia and some sort of Kidney infection (we find this out after waiting in the ER for two hours before getting a room then waiting thereabout 7 hours more before finding out what was wrong and getting out of there). So the last couple of days have been hectic but luckily Jason is fine now... well still sick but much much better than before.
On the good side I started my job this month. For those that didn't know I have been working/temping at a Investment Management company for about three month for a receptionist position. they were looking for someone to fill the position so I applied for it and they interviewed me and a few others but in the end hired me. This had been my first two weeks so Friday I got my first pay check and signing bonus (never got one of them before). I also splurged for myself and got me an iPod Touch and will be getting a laptop once the leopard comes out at the end of the month.
So that's it in a really short nutshell. I can expand the things but it's been such a long month already that I don't really want to spend more time talking about it and just glad my BF is doing better :)
