VI down again
Feb. 10th, 2007 09:48 amOkay after having put all this time and effort into remaking the website vividimagintion the server is down... AGAIN! This is really pissing me off. There was absolutely nothing wrong with it yesterday and then today poof gone. So yeah this just pisses me off just a tiny bit. I really need to look into a better server that isn't just cheap but is worth the money paid on it. I don't want constant downtimes, I don't want my e-mail to stop working, especially after just receiving an e-mail from a possible employer, I just want it to work without having to worry if the site is going to crash on me again.
In other news I finally got updated OS X on my Mac. Well it's more updated than I had, I think it's the latest version but whatever. I am simply amazed at how easy it was to install even though it took a bit long but since I don't have a DVD drive anymore (the one of this computer broke before I got it) had to use Firewire. There's not much difference and it didn't change any of my current settings. That's so fucking cool. Usually when you have a Windows upgrade you have to refind everything and change everything back to the way you liked it but I didn't have to do that here. All I had to do was go on like normal.
Anyway yeah I think I will have to try and fix up the version of the site I have on my computer until the webserver comes back online. And when it does I am seriously going to consider a new site. Anyone have any suggestions as to where.

OMG! I sent them a support e-mail and shortly after the site was back up. That was extremely impressive. I may be having second thoughts of dropping them. Hopefully they don't have any more problems like it.

Well I just found out that they never even received my messages so they fixed the site on their own which now begs me to wonder was it the fact that I tried to first use my websites e-mail address that they own that made them fix it or were they fixing it anyway. Either way it now doesn't seem good. It would have been nice to think that my sending a letter to them fixed it but now it still makes me want to seek a new server.
