Stuff that's been piling up in my mind

Hopefully this won't be too whiny but I don't think it is. In fact I think I've had a very decent time recently except for maybe a bit of sickness on one or more sides.

So lets start with that shall we. On the weekend that I took my BF to the ER for his pneumonia I had a lot of stuff going on. Saturday I cleaned up the second bedroom while he slept most of the day and then Sunday while he relaxed and slept and all Brett and I and even some help from jimcyl, who helped me drive for a bit before having to go do stuff, helped move a futon from Brett's place to our place and a desk and two bookshelves from our place to his. It was a very tiring weekend but all in all we got a nice bedroom that can actually be used as a bedroom now.

Earlier in that week I was talking to a friend whom I had been talking to off and on since he did a commission for me and he asked if I had started working on my fursuit yet. I said no to which he said paraphrased, well send me your fur and foam and I will work on it since I am in the creative mood and want to do something. I was a bit floored that he said that and of course said yes, but not being one to accept something like this just by itself and since I still had my old laptop that hadn't been sold to my friends I decided since he was doing something that would equal the price of what I was going to sell the Lappy for I would just give it to him for trade. He was quite happy about that too. The head is almost done btw and might even have it time for Howlaween ;3

There was a problem with my old lappy though. When Snow Leopard came out they had a new battery feature that told you how well you're battery is how much charger it has left etc etc etc. Since it was still under Apple Care (which I am so going to get for my new Lappy) I took it to the Apple Store's Genius Bar. I've heard mixed things about the bar but let me tell you that the person behind the bar gave me the best customer service I have ever had anywhere (which is why I want to get the Apple Care for my new Lappy). The person was awesome told me what was wrong with the battery, even though I wasn't totally sure what it meant he helped explain it for me, and since I had the AC program he replaced the battery for free. I was stoked about that :3 So now I have a great Lappy to give to my friend (just have to clean it out of stuffs).

This weekend was great. We were supposed to go camping with our friend jet_der_hund but because my puppy had pneumonia we didn't want him to get sick again due to weather, that and I figured I would be bad off too due to ragweed, so we decided to stay home and "clean". Well cleaning never happened although we did get stuff for the futon and more sheets for our bed as well. Saturday night we also had our friend fozzie_da_fops stay the night. I had gotten a new card game called "Gloom" which was very fun and Jason beat us both twice, then we played Fluxx which Jason also beat us twice on. It was an awesome night though. I felt worn out though after a while and Jason and Fozzie decided they wanted to get pics so they went out and spent until 3am taking pictures. Sunday was the Apple visit then back home. For dinner we went to a place called Cinners though for Cincinnati Chili, and unfortunately they had dried noodles :P but it was otherwise okay.

So now for the rest of the week I need to get started on making fursuit gloves and tail for my head. Don't really think I want to do feet but may give it a try (although just thought it would be awesome to have spat like in ducktails for my feet paws).

Anyway I thought I'd update everyone on happy things for once rather than whine. Hope everyone else is doing well. *huggles*
