Life in the last couple of weeks
Sep. 4th, 2009 09:51 amSo fun and interesting things have happened in the last few weeks... Well maybe not. I never really consider my life very exciting in the first place although I know that would be a problem that I need to rectify.
Anyway.
Lately there's been a young guy who fell for me. It's strange because I don't really have the same feeling for him. I mean he's sweet, and playful and other things but in truth I really love my BF. The whole situation made me think back to a time when I was just coming out. I was young and foolish and fell for an older guy who basically felt the same way for me as I feel for the guy currently falling for me. This situation though made me really not like the guy I fell for though (because in the end he found a younger twinky kid that he fell in love with). Now that I am in the same situation I feel... I dunno, like I owe the guy whom I fell for an apology. I mean really he was following his heart and I was at a stage that I really didn't know what I wanted and was overly emotional about it. So basically I know where the guy who has fallen for me is at and I now see what I did to him/myself in the past.
So other than that...
Last weekend our friend Ben, my BF and I went to the Bristol Renaissance Fair. This was the first time I have been out there and it's quite nice. I was considering dressing up in some slight Steampunk garb but decided against it. Should have reconsidered though since Ben decided to dress up for it. Either way it was an awesome place. The one in Cincinnati/Kentucky area didn't even compare cause it was at least four times the size. There were a lot of neat places there, of course tons of stores. I wanted to buy a cloak but the price seemed reasonable but still rather expensive, that and all the leather *murrrrrr* way too pricey. So basically the whole event made me really want to sew. So I think I'm finally get off my ass and do it. I think maybe even try some this weekend (after I clean the house).
So yeah. Dunno what's going to happen this weekend but hope it will be fun. I know I have WCBT Club night and meeting Saturday and Sunday, but no plans for Labor Day. Tonight though will be going out to eat with our good friend Brett and John, his BF visiting the states. I'm sure it will be fun :3
