So if some of you don't have Facebook or are not following me there then you probably didn't know I had an interesting night tonight.

Started off, for me at least, by going to Woody's comic book store, Evil Squirrel Comics, because I read on Facebook/Twitter that Zoober was there, that and I was incredibly bored at the time. So head over there and find out that Fozzie is over there too. So I hang out with them for a while and then my BF calls me (because I missed his message) that he wanted to go downtown to test his new camera lens and get pictures of the city. So I get him to come to the store to see Fozzie and meet Zoober at least before we head off.

So we get on the train and head downtown. Once we get to Addison a whole bunch of girls get on, one of which had a sash that said Bachelorette, also they were quite drunk. It was quite... entertaining, especially when they started pulling out a ring toss game that you strapped to your head that was shaped like a penis. At least they were having fun and were hilarious to watch and listen too.

While this was going on I noticed that the trains going North were extremely packed for being almost ten at night. But then we noticed a majority of the people were wearing Sox clothing. When we got off at our stop we also noticed that a lot of Bears fans were coming down as well. So two games got out at the same time... good thing we weren't going North. The bad thing though was we were going to the Museum Campus which meant we had to travel upstream as it were through Bears fans to get there. It really wasn't too bad until they decided to whistle, hoot and hollar underneath one of the very echoy bridges.

So as we start getting toward the lake away from the fans we start hearing fireworks go off. Being Saturday during the summer months Navy Pier does a fireworks show every Saturday and Wednesday. So we got to watch them while we tried to find the best spot for my BF to take some good skyline pictures.

There were a few other interesting things as well. The lake was very active and caused a few waves to go over the edge onto the sidewalks below us. The bus driver we got to take us back to the redline didn't seem very happy and was constantly honking her hron but had enough time to laugh and joke with other CTA employees at a stop where all the staff from the Bears game got on at. The redline home seemed to be invaded by the German women. Heh, it almost seems so surreal.

Anyway stuff like this makes me just love this city more, also makes me want to hang with Woody more often, just because I don't really get to hang out with furs in the area anymore. I think that I am going to try and go to the inner city furmeet on Thursday just so I can hang out and such, especially since it's not that far.
