Busy

Well I have been rather busy lately. Partially because work has been more strict about web usage, or more I have been getting away with stuff I shouldn't have been doing in the first place. But work has actually been busy for once which is good.

I had a decent time this weekend, but way too many sweets.

Our friend fozzie_da_fops came a visited us for the weekend. I was such a cuddle slut around him. Anyway we did a good bit of hanging out with him. Saturday we didn't do much except stay at home. Eventually we did go and get food at Fado. Love the atmosphere, which is odd since I'm not in general fond of bars. Afterwards we decided that Fozzie needed to try a local favorite of ours, Margie's Candies. The thing about Margie's is that they have OMG amazing hot fudge for ice cream, everything else is just okay. After that we went to our WCBT Bar Night. This was one of the few times I actually had fun there. Like I said not much of a bar person but if you have good friends to chat with then it's good :3

Sunday when I got up I was hungry for breakfast but really wasn't in the mood to go out to get something so I decided maybe I should make something. Found a basic recipe for Pancakes and made the batter, by that time my BF was awake so he finished it off while I got a few things at the store so we could enjoy said pancakes. I have to say they were probably the most amazing pancakes I had ever had. After breakfast we sat around the house more until Fozzie went to hang out with woodychitwn and the had to go to our meeting.

After the meeting we met up with Woody and Fozzie back at our place and finally showed it off to Woody. Then we all jumped into the Woodymobile and went to Noon O Kebab. It was, as always, an awesome meal but never really realized just how much Woody hated veggies until then. Hummus was not liked by him, but it's all good I still love him ;). Anyways he did enjoy all the lovely meats. After food I mentioned Margie's, not because I wanted to go again (but when discussing desserts I can be easily persuaded to go) but to just ask if Woody had ever been there. Well just the mention of it got Woody hungry for hot fudge... <.< >.> The dessert perverts ;P, so we drove over and had yet another night of delicious sundaes.

So that was the basic weekend. Sunday Night started talking again to a friend in Greenbay area. He's a cool guy and very into the Steampunk and clothing design stuff as well. So have been talking on and off with him about that stuff and just talking to him in general, we're both big dorks so it's great.

So yeah that's it. Shows over. Nothing more to see here. I mean it.
