MFF and other things
Nov. 17th, 2008 10:25 amHi everybody,
So yeah... stuff...
Anyway, enough of that nonsense. I'm highly anticipating MFF this year. It seems though that I am already planning on doing way too much. There are a few furs I wanna hang out with and I'm not sure if my BF would care to join me when I do that and I have a Christmas Party that I am going to that has limited space and forgot to see if my BF wanted to go or not (wasn't think so since all the stuff I want to do are highly cub related). The good thing is though there are a lot of things he can do since we are staying with our friend Jet and our friend Twiz will be there too. Hopefully I can do the things that I want and not make me feel like I am neglecting my BF either.
Onto Fursuit stuffs. I got a commission from Moose. Saw that he was open and took a chance on it. So hopefully it will come out good but I'm sure it will. He is a very good artist and does very realistic cartoony style that I really rather like. I would still like to try and get one from Kein though but not sure. Either way I still need to wait until next month before I can really do anything since that's when I will get my sewing machine. Although I did find a good thing on sergers that I might try... maybe for my cheetah fur though. Anyway fun to use both on certain things. At least with both of those it will make me want to sew in general and I will hopefully start doing that :3
This weekend the Boys Troop (WCBT - Windy City Boys Troop) had our thanksgiving dinner. It was quite good too. Good company too. Things like this make me glad that I am still part of the group. I really should start planning events and trips and stuff to do but in truth I really don't know much about the Chicago area to really plan much besides maybe something like bowling or movies or what not. I am so not a bar person though. I know, I know there are fun times to be had there but I don't drink, I'm not very social at bars. It's too crowded, the music is too loud and... really I just don't feel comfortable there. Anyway since I am event planner coordinator type person maybe I should, you know, plan something. Although as per usual the holiday season is a bad time to plan anything. Will definitely work on something though.
