Well after an overly stressful work week today I am rather bored. I'm glad that I am rather bored... but it's still... boring.
Yeah anyway, tonight the pup and I plan on going to the Halloween Parade in Boy's Town. Hopefully this time we won't be stupid and try to take the 36 there (but being off the redline I don't think we will). I have no costume for Halloween as per usual though. You know I think by next year I will have something even if it's something I made myself. I actually want to try to make my own fursuit but know how hard it is to do so. Maybe I should bug Perro for some hints on that. I know I have a few friends to help me get sewing so that'd be good but need to figure out how to use my serger first and get the sewing machine from my mom too (it's an old singer that has it's own stand... will be so cool to get it). I have some videos that are helpful but not sure in which order I need to view them but it's still sweet to find them on YouTube.
I should try to do more sewing or at least copy some of my patterns so I can make some things with them without damaging the patterns themselves. I hate to chalk it up to me being lazy again but basically it's what it is. That and still have very little clue what I am doing and I don't like starting something like that without knowing something. I should get some foam too if I wanna make a fursuit. I tried my hand at making a fursuit head but plastic mesh and fishing wire don't mix... that and I fell I could make something better at this point.
Speaking of fursuits I really need to get a character profile if I am going to make one of my character. Was planning on getting one for the blue skunk. Why him first? Well because it'd be something I can do rather easily without too much trouble. If I had to do the cheetah first then I'd have to worry about spots and do I paint/airbrush them on or get spotted material (which I actually have some already) and then do I try to make a certain pattern with the spots yada yada yada. The blue Skunk is a very basic character. I mean I may add some things that I would never do to myself like earrings or tattoo or something but not sure yet. But my questions to anyone, if they are actually reading this, is who do you think would be good at making one? I would think I would like to try Kien again since I really like how the drawing turned out but not sure.
Other news my Footed Sleeper is done. Ashland finished it up. Now all he has to do is take pictures and send it to me. Just can't wait. *bounces*
You know I find it funny how things just pop in your head when you're bored. It's weird that I will just started typing and think 'Oh maybe I should add this' and then move to where something similar is. It seems I only write here when I am rather bored and just go on tangents anyway some that make sense with each other some that don't.
Anyway... I think I'm done for now.
