I miss the interwebs...
Aug. 14th, 2008 03:46 pmI have to say ever since we moved into the new place I have thoroughly missed having a constant internet connection. I mean I do try and catch up when I can manage it but still typically not. The sad thing is it's just making me realize that I never really did much on the internet at home that I wanted to do. For instance, I am again writing for an interactive story site ( http://www.kupopolis.com ) and because of no access haven't really been able to update anything on it, or I have some YouTube videos sent to my e-mail that I wanted to watch on how to use my serger but have yet to actually watch them at home.
I have taken my internets for granted and no without it misses it terribly :(
*sigh*
In other news; I am sooooooo tired of moving. I really hope that we can get everything cleaned soon so we can just be done with it. Basically we have most of the furniture that we want to keep at the new place except for a few minor things. We still have a few things left that we need to pack that a regular car can probably carry over and then the rest of the stuff we were planning on giving to charity if they will pick it up themselves, if not it might just be a free for all. Once the furniture is all gone then there's the massive dust bunnies that having a cat and neglect of moving big furniture pieces can only produce. Blah just thinking about all this stuff depresses me heh.
Work is going well. I have been a bit distracted lately though. Well me moving, the business moving, typical work... Yeah it gets a bit distracting. It's becoming hard to focus on it but at the same time I typically do so little that I am rather bored most of the time. Still I love the job and the people and wouldn't trade this for going back to retail unless I owned the store or something (which could happen if I can learn to use that serger and well sew well lol).
I need to hang out with Woody more often now that he is literally two blocks away. I really shouldn't have an excuse not to.
I need some time to relax and glad that Jason and I are soon going to be going camping with his family and our friends.
Okay, now that I have said all that I am tired.
Will post more later hopefully when I get the tubes connected at home.
