Wann buy me a condo
Jan. 9th, 2008 03:34 pmMy BF and I have been seriously thinking of getting a condo lately. We have even been discusing and determining where to live in Chicago (so many neighborhoods, so far away from transit).
My concerns are basically:
1. Transit - I want to be close to one of the trains in order to get places when the bus routes aren't so reliable
2. Neighborhood - Would love to stay in the neighborhood that we are in or even close by it but really I don't care. As long as we are in a relatively safe area and #1 is there then I will be happy
3. The Condo itself - I want a two bedroom place, gas stove, decent sized bathroom, enough storage for stuff, in unit washer and dryer, and actualy space not a sardine can after that everything else is extra.
There are plenty of places that fit this criteria in Chicago and hopefully we will look at them this weekend.
