So this weekend was as fast as I thought it would be and much different than I thought it would be too.
Originally what was supposed to happen was: Friday Bar Night, Saturday Bar Night with Guests from Wisc., Sunday Meeting.
On Friday night I started to feel really hot but apparently everyone else in the room at our apartment were rather cold. Basically feeling tired and generally blah anyway instead of going to the bar I literally crashed. I went to bed and slept the whole night away. Also apparently I wasn't the only one who didn't go to the bar. There seemed to be only three or four people who actually showed up. The did their best though.
Saturday night was interesting. Our Guests (the NEW Brotherhood) couldn't make it because the weather had gotten rather bad (snow turning into freezing rain) which we don't blame them at all. But we made it out and had a decent amount of the group members show up for the night but it was rather boring. My BF decided to cure the boredom by getting drunk (which he becomes rather playful puppy then) but for me the boredom just was incurable (and since the bar lacked Midori I couldn't take my pup's cue). So we (My BF, Eric and I) ended up leaving early and getting food at Deluxe Diner. I really have to say I like Eric. He seems more geek than he is kinky and he's fun to talk with... too bad he's not a fur ;P
Sunday the meeting was... interesting. In fact since it's a private meeting I really won't go into details about it. But getting there as usual is a hassle. Waiting for the 36 bus at any time of the day seems to be a hassle though. It wouldn't have been bad had there been no wind. Earlier in the day there really wasn't any and it felt okay but that wind is a killer.
All in all this weekend was very short and went by too fast. I hate to say but just can't wait for the Holidays are over so can just relax for a bit.
