Friend dropping by and IML

Well one of my best friends (of course an ex as well) dropped by on his way to California. He is moving there for work so he decided to drive cross country and vist friends and family along the way. On the way was well me.

It was great he got to experience full Chicago... well at least mostly free Chicago. We started the morning with a Trip on the Redline to breakfast at Ann Sathers in Belmont. Then from there visited Millenium Park, the Lego Store, the Apple Store and the Disney Store before ending our trip at the Lincoln Park Zoo. It was great and we did a lot for one morning. After all the running around we napped for a bit then had Giordanos pizza because he wanted something distintly Chicago food wise.

I forgot how much I missed hanging out with him but I know he's going to do well in Cali.

SO yeah IML is coming soon. Sad thing is on Thrusday (my birthday) I have to go to the DMV to get new plates and new licence. It's going to be great :P Hopefully we will have enough time to do that and pick up a friend at the airport too because I have to get this done before the end of the month and while I have time. And since IML starts Friday I won't be able to get it done this month if I don't get it Thursday... I hate being forced to use my only typical day off to do everything :P

Otherwise things are as usual good here.
