Hot and bothered

I have to say I still really love it here in Chicago. The only thing that's bothering me is that the roommates here really don't like to waste energy. As in when I first got here the AC was always set at 80... Yes I said 80. There's really no point in trying to AC the place to 80 because it's still to damned hot. That had changed when I moved in. Now it's set to 76 when on (believe me if I had my way it'd be much colder) Now though it's cool enough outside to be nice in here except they turn off the fan when we have it on (the central air fan that is) and now certain rooms swelter while others are cool. I'm sorry I have the point not to sweat when I'm in my house unless doing a couple of things none of which is trying to sleep. Even if they're trying to save a few bucks with it it's literally a few bucks (not that my roommate doesn't have an SUV that takes premium gas that he has to drive EVERYWHERE). So that's why I'm a little hot an bothered right now... my BF is in another room presummably because of the heat and I can't sleep for the fact that one he's not beside me and two I'm burning up. Well this is a definate sign that I will be buying another floor fan at work today :P
