Irony... it's not just for the ironing board

I originally called off today in order to go to a party but when I did they told me it would be a unexcused absence and I would most likely get repremanded because I was still in my 90 day trial period (basically I would probably get fired). SO I vented and whined and thought and got depressed and enventaully decided (with help from BF and friend) that it'd be in my best interest to suck it up stop, being a baby and go to work. I get to work and everyone is surprised to see me there. Well that night the store manager happened to work. Either because I called in for a frivilous reason then came in knowing my job would be on the line or just because he hadn't talked to me much he came by where I worked and we chatted a bit. I told him a lot of my previous experience after he showed me some of the procedures about signing and then he basically made me an offer that sounded like a promotion or at least training to be a team lead or something. So either because I did something stupid then fixed it or in spite of it I might have more money coming in. It still doesn't leave out the fact that I will probably be looking for another job but if I can get more money doing the job I am doing now then I will definately do that.
