Som I have a job at Target and I regrett to say now I really hate retail work. The last night I worked I worked til 11:30 when I was only schedualed til 10. So yeah basically it means I am still looking for a job maybe even a temp one that at least gives me regular hours and better pay.
In other news, I was traveling with friends yesterday when just finished with lunch and Brett needed to stop and get some groceries befroe going to get some Ice Cream. So we stop off at Trader Joes on Grace and Lincoln (why I mention that is because they have an extremely tiny parking lot). So we go inside while Brett does his shopping and when we come out we find that the person parking next to us had been hit by a car that parked next to him and because of that the two cars were tire to tire. No damage was done to Bretts car... well at least not really any to report or anything but there was a bit of damage done to the person parking next to us. Well we waited while people who were outside told us the story of what happened and got their information. Apparently the guy who parked left his car in gear and while he got out for a second his car backed into the one parking next to us and then he ran off... he had a temp plate so not sure if he had stolen the car, had a record already or just was a dumbass. After that we waited for the person who's cars that was touching ours to come out and when they did they said that was the second time that had happened to them (hit and run that is). Got their information and waited for the police (which some guy called 911 for). So about 30 mins to and hour later, after we had called the police a few times and had gotten free water from Trader Joes (and not those tiny dollar bottles that they sell at the registers but huge 1.5 liter ones) we called the police again and they said it'd just be easier to come to the police station and make a report. So we head up to the station that was on or well right off of Western and make the report there. The police Cheif there was pretty cool guy (although Brett was joking a bit too much making him flirt with disaster there for a sec). After the report was made Brett dropped me off and no Ice Cream was had :(
It definatelty was an interesting day but would have much rather wasted the time I wasted waiting for police submitting my resume online.
